Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader or magnification.

Last updated: 2 November 2026

The standard we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard most UK organisations work to.

What you can do on this website

  • Use every page and form with a keyboard alone. The first key press shows a "Skip to content" link.
  • Zoom in to 400% without losing content, or read the site on a phone.
  • Use a screen reader: pages have headings in order, the forms have labels, and the pictures that carry meaning are described.
  • Pause any moving clip with its Pause button. If you've asked your device for less motion, the clips stay still until you press Play, and the page doesn't animate as you scroll.
  • Turn captions on for the narrated videos. They're on from the start, except on the overview film, which already shows its main points as words on screen; you can turn them on with the CC button.

How we checked

On 2 November 2026 we checked every page ourselves, on a phone-sized and a laptop-sized screen: an automated check against the WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules (it found no failures), and by hand with a keyboard. The site hasn't yet been checked by an independent accessibility expert or tested with screen reader users. We plan to do both, and will update this page when we have.

What we know isn't right yet

  • The silent clips show OpLegal's screens moving. Each has a short description, but they don't have audio description. The narrated version of each feature, with captions, is behind its "Watch with sound" button.
  • The overview film has no audio-described version yet.
