Who we are
This website is run by TBC, a company registered in England and Wales (company number TBC), registered office TBC. We're registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration number TBC.
We decide how the personal data described here is used, which makes us its "controller". You can write to us about it at TBC.
This notice covers the website, not OpLegal
If your firm uses OpLegal, your firm decides how its clients' and staff's data is used, and we look after that data on the firm's behalf under our data processing agreement with the firm. Your firm's own privacy notice explains that. This page is only about azenteq.com.
What we collect
When you book a demo or join the pilot
Your name, firm name, role, work email, and anything else you choose to tell us: your phone number, how many fee earners you have, the system you use today, times that suit you for a call and what you'd most like to fix.
When you visit any page
Like every website, our hosting provider sees technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, browser and the page you asked for. It uses them to deliver the page and keep the site safe from attacks, and to check the demo and pilot forms are filled in by a person, not a robot.
We don't use analytics or advertising tools, and we don't track you across other websites.
Why we use it
- To reply to you: to arrange the demo or pilot you asked for and answer your questions.
- To follow up about OpLegal, for as long as you're happy to hear from us. You can tell us to stop at any time.
- To keep the website working and secure.
The law lets us do this because it's in our legitimate interests to reply to firms that contact us and to run a safe website, and we've weighed this against your interests: you contacted us at work, about your firm's software. If you become a customer, we also use your details to carry out our contract with your firm.
Who helps us
We use a small number of companies to run the website. They act on our instructions and may not use your details for anything else.
- Cloudflare hosts the website and protects it, including the check on our forms.
- Neon stores your enquiry in our database, in London.
- Our email provider sends us a message when a new enquiry arrives.
We never sell your details or share them with anyone for their own marketing.
Outside the UK
Your enquiry is stored in London. Cloudflare runs a worldwide network, so technical details of a visit may be handled outside the UK. Where that happens, the transfer is protected in the ways UK data protection law requires, such as approved contract terms.
How long we keep it
We keep an enquiry for 24 months after we were last in touch, then delete it. If your firm becomes a customer, what we need to run the account moves into the customer's records, and our agreement with your firm sets how long that's kept. Our hosting provider keeps its technical logs for a few days.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- correct it if it's wrong
- delete it
- stop or limit how we use it, including asking us to stop contacting you
- give it to you in a form you can pass to someone else
Write to us at TBC. We'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113, though we'd be grateful for the chance to put things right first.
Cookies
This website doesn't set cookies, and doesn't store anything on your device. The robot check on our forms, run by Cloudflare, reads some details of your browser to tell people from robots; it doesn't follow you to other websites. Our fonts and videos come from our own website, not from other companies. If that ever changes, we'll update this notice and ask you first where the law says we must.
Changes
We'll update this page when what we do changes, and change the date at the top.
